Communities with Significant Proposed Transit Service Loss in Bus Line Refresh Final Draft

Allison Park: Ferguson Rd, Duncan Ave and Peebles Rd will lose all access to service

Baldwin Borough: North Baldwin extension of the 44, and Hwy Rt 51 between Stilley Rd and the cloverleaf will lose all service. Brownsville Rd, Horning Rd, Curry Rd, Blossom Dr, Gardenville Rd will lose all access to service.

Beltzhoover: Beltzhoover Ave [between Climax St and Chalfant St], and Bosman St [between Bernd St and Knox Ave] will lose all transit service.

Brackenridge: Riders will lose express service to Downtown and be required to take the new 3 bus to Tarentum and transfer Downtown.

Brookline: Ebenshire Village will lose direct access to service. The service to Downtown will be on Brookline Blvd, and the new South Hills Bus Route 34 (crosstown route) will be on Breining St.

Chartiers City/Windgap: Outer Chartiers Ave [between Jeffers and Windgap] will lose all transit service.

Clairton: Will lose weekend service to Downtown Pittsburgh.

East Oakmont: Hulton Rd Hill will lose all access to service.

East Pittsburgh: Will lose direct access to Monroeville, North Versailles Walmart and the Waterfront.

Edgewood: Riders on Edgewood Ave will lose express service to Downtown.

Elizabeth: Will lose weekend service.

Etna: Communities North of Freeport St will lose all access to service except peak hours, peak directions

Greenfield: There will only be service the length of Greenfield Ave on weekdays, once hourly, connecting to Downtown. 7-day service to Downtown will be provided by the new 58 on Bigelow St and Winterburn Ave. Direct service to Central Oakland will only be provided by the proposed 93 on Hazelwood and Murray Ave in the far Eastern edge of Greenfield.

Groveton: Herbst Rd, Coraopolis Rd, and Chartiers Ave extension will lose all transit service.

Kennedy Township: Pickford Plan will lose all direct transit service. Herbst Rd, Coraopolis Rd, and Chartiers Ave extension will lose all transit service.

Lincoln-Lemington: Shuman Center, Southwest Veterans Center, and Pittsburgh Job Corps will lose all transit service.

McCandless: Presidential Arms Apartment Complex, CCAC North, Northland Public Library, and Perry Highway in that region will lose all service. 

Monroeville: CCAC Boyce will lose all weekend service. Monroeville Trestle Rd and Center Rd will lose all access to service.

Mt. Lebanon: The service South and West of the intersection of Cedar & Cochran Rd, and the portion of Bower Hill Rd between Washington and Cochran will be eliminated. The variant of the current 38 Greentree service will also be eliminated on Cochran Rd.

Mt. Washington: Beltzhoover Ave [between Warrington Ave and Bailey Ave], Cathleen St, Haberman Ave, Boggs Ave, and Bailey Ave will lose all transit service.

Natrona Heights: Riders will lose express service to Downtown and be required to take the new 3 bus to Tarentum and transfer Downtown. 

North Versailles: Transit service beyond East McKeesport will be eliminated.

Oakdale: CCAC West will lose all bus service access on weekends.

Oakmont: Hulton Rd Hill will lose all access to service.

Penn Hills: Current Lincoln Park loop which includes Mark Dr, Grove Rd, Chaske St and Aber Rd and part of Mt. Carmel Rd will be eliminated from transit service altogether. Commuter service on the P17 will be eliminated. Hulton Arbors will lose all access to service, along with Hulton Rd, Milltown Rd, Leechburg Rd, Unity Trestle Rd, and Saltsburg Rd East of Universal Rd.

Perry South: Charles St between Wilson and Brighton Rd will lose all access to service.

Plum: Hulton Rd, Milltown Rd, Leechburg Rd, Unity Trestle Rd, and Saltsburg Rd East of Universal Rd will lose all transit service.

Regency Park: Saltsburg Rd East of Universal Rd will lose all transit service.

Reserve Township: Will lose all access to service.

Ross Township: Jacks Run Rd and Connie Drive will lose all transit service. Kane Regional Nursing Center near McKnight Rd will no longer be serviced as well.

Shaler: Will only retain peak service in the peak direction on weekdays, and will no longer have a direct connection to McKnight Rd.

South Park Township: Zupancic Drive will lose all access to service.

Spring Hill: Colby St in Summer Hill will lose direct access to service, although 1 alternative transit route on Mt. Pleasant Rd may be accessible by walking.

Trafford: Will lose all access to service.

West Mifflin: CCAC South will lose all weekend service, riders on Kennywood Blvd will lose express service to the East Busway and Downtown.

Whitehall: Baptist Rd (West of Weyman Rd), Provost Rd, Brownsville Rd, and Hwy Rt 51 between Stilley Rd and the cloverleaf will lose all service. The Eastern part of Baptist Rd, Brownsville Rd, and Weyman Rd will lose all service outside of peak weekday hours. 

Windgap: Outer Chartiers Ave [between Jeffers and Windgap] will lose all transit service.
